Established in 2001 Karan Thompson Consulting Limited (KTCL) provides consultancy services to SMEs and micro enterprises that are continually striving to develop their business. We work primarily across the arts, culture, tourism, education and creative industry sectors. We adopt a partnership approach to assist our clients to identify paths for ongoing development and sustainability. Our value lies in our approach. We bring commitment, experience, expertise, guidance and passion to all our projects and adopt a shared learning approach in all our engagements to ensure maximum benefit at the end of our engagement. Key areas where KTCL provides assistance include:  Business planning, feasibility and evaluation  Strategic planning and marketing  Developing innovative solutions and commercialising creativity  Business mentoring  Innovation coaching  Communications strategy development  Partnership development and collaboration KTCL provides mentoring services for Failte Ireland’s Business Mentoring Service. Our research within the music education sphere underpinned the announcement of €5 million funding from U2 for the development of music education services in Ireland. In addition, we have designed and currently deliver a management development programme with Communiqué International for the leisure services industry. KTCL is a sponsor of the David Manley Emerging Entrepreneur Awards and provides innovation coaching for the Award winners. Karan is a member of the Marketing Institute of Ireland and sits on the Board of the National Concert Hall.
