I think that this would be interesting and would enhance understanding of how the CI sector can interplay with traditional businesses.

One of the things we had thought about before in the context of business linkages was to have a joint networking event with Dublin Chamber and their members. Would be interested in people's thoughts on that? BNI and First Tuesday interesting options too (provided BNI could waive the dawn meeting!)

Let us know if any of you are members of other business networks and we can work together to maybe get a few together for one event?

The DCEB event pre-Christmas worked very well so it would be good to do something like that again.

I'm already a member of the Viking BNI chapter. We meet in The Burlington every Wednesday morning. It's been our single biggest source of new work since I joined March 2009.

We're organising a big visitor day in a month's time. Hoping to have a large number of visitors there. This could be a perfect opportunity to bring members from Creative D into another networking environment. Particularly one that's so focused on lead generation.

The date for the Visitor Day is on the 2nd of March at The Burlington and costs €10. But the best news is it's in the evening time! 7:00pm to 9:00pm.

Thanks for the invite. I was wondering what line of business you are in? I have been to a few of those open days for BNI through a couple of other chapters. I do like the format of BNI however unfortunately for me and the line of business I am in I could never see much work (if any) passed our way. I did see plenty of opportunity to refer work but I suppose it has to be a two way street. I may give it another shot though and go along on the 2nd March - Can't do any harm to have another look. Would love to know if anyone else from Creative D has thought of joining
