Speaker Biographies
Maeve Kneafsey is widely regarded as Ireland's leading expert in online business, web usage and strategy. She has worked with large corporations and government agencies on maximising the web to promote their services or products.
A Trinity College graduate, Maeve has, for the last 20 years worked with some of the world's largest international communications companies in the US, UK and Ireland. Maeve has also worked with the majority of leading Irish media companies as CEO, Marketing Director and CommercialDirector. She established Elucidate in 2003.
Clients that Maeve has worked with include permanent tsb, First Active, eircom, ESB, Ireland.com and Tesco. Government agencies including An Post, Department of the Taoiseach (eCabinet), Department of Finance (etenders), the Civil Service and Local Appointments Commissioners, COGG and Safefood and the Arts Council.
She was responsible for establishing the Golden Spiders Internet Awards and is co-founder of the Irish eGovernment Awards and Centre of Excellence. She is a regular guest contributor on online issues at both conferences and in the media.
Seán Weafer is an international trainer and speaker in creating high trust business relationships and is the founder and CEO of the SellingEQ.com learning site for high trust advisors, account managers and sales professionals.
Now, as an international conference speaker, executive mentor and workshop leader Sean (a.k.a. 'The Rebel in a Business Suit') works with the sales and leaders of leading B2B corporate businesses to develop high trust and successful executives and teams. He helps corporate sales and account management teams to successfully and profitably retain/acquire high valueclients and their leadership executives to build compelling and influentialrelationships with team colleagues and clients.
Sean has a background in sales, leadership and entrepreneurship, is a qualified psychotherapist, an analytical hypnotherapist and NLP master and started his varied career as an engineer. He is a Fellow of the Professional Speaking Association, a Member of the Institution of Engineers in Ireland and a past Hon VP of the Association for Coaching in London.
